Nonstop

If you keep up with the My Christian Walk blog you might have picked up on a few changes recently.

  1. Blog posts are been every two weeks instead of every week.

  2. Daily Bible verses on social media are now three time a week instead of daily.

  3. Many of the blog posts have been reposts and not new content.

The main reason for all of these changes is that Katie, the creator and main contributor of post has been very busy due to recent changes in her life. Over the past 6 months Katie has been preparing for the birth of her first child and then welcome him in August.

I (Katie) would like to thank all of the readers who have supported and stuck around during these changes. I feel very grateful that you have extended grace in my failure to post regularly and to create interesting content.

I would like to share a few things I have learned during this time.

  • You can try to plan but that doesn't mean that it will happen that way.

  • When things don't go the way you wish you have to just keep moving forward.

  • The most important thing in the world is taking care of baby and yourself.

  • Time with God is meaningful even if it is just 5, 10, or 15 minutes.

  • Find someone you can be honest with about your struggles.

  • Never stop progressing and learning.

  • If you aren't going to give the task the right amount of attention then it isn't worth stressing about.

Life is constantly moving forward and there is nothing we can do to slow it down, in other words, life is nonstop. If I have learned anything over the past year is just how important it is to have people in your corner. People who show up when you need them. People that walk beside you in your faith and challenge you to go deeper. I challenge you to take a look at how your relationships with others and God have been recently and make any needed adjustments.
